As a designer for Hello Amigo, I’ve worked on editorial design including the Junior League of El Paso’s Community Report, a publication that highlights their work from the previous year. The design of the Report reflects the identity for the current Presidential Theme, “Shine Bright.” Elements and colors from the identity are used to convey the “Shine Bright” message.

My layout and design experience also includes a festival program for the Plaza Classic Film Festival a project of the El Paso Community Foundation. The copy-heavy program lays out details of the program’s films as well as special guests, events and other festival details.

I also design the program and mailers every year for the Jewel Box Series, a project that showcases community talent. At the beginning of the season, a new mailer is sent out and a new program is designed every month.

Visit El Paso’s website is a foundation to their marketing efforts and provides an abundance of information to locals, visitors, meeting and event planners, and creatives.

As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed a microsite to illustrate the history of the streetcars in El Paso, from their start in 1881 connecting El Paso to Ciudad Juarez, their suspension in 1974 and finally, their renovation and return in 2018.

Escalante Roofing is a local, family-owned business that specializes in roofing and remodeling projects. During my time at Hello Amigo, I redesigned their website with a modern look to appeal to young homeowners and provide easy access to important information. I used brighter hues of their identity palette and custom illustrations to highlight their services.

Franklin Star Wealth Planning is a non-commissioned financial planning firm focused on helping clients, particularly healthcare professionals, build a healthier financial future, without the sales pitch. At Hello Amigo, I designed a new website to help Franklin Star connect with prospective clients. In addition, to give the site modern custom photography, I assisted with art direction of a custom photoshoot.

As a designer for Hello Amigo, I created a website for the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso that serves as a comprehensive guide for users seeking to support their mission through one-time contributions, recurring gifts, and planned giving options. With full-width photography, I was able to capture the essence of their charitable work, evoking emotion and purpose. Icons are strategically placed to enhance usability, guiding users effortlessly to pertinent information and donation opportunities. Overall, the Catholic Foundation website not only educates but also inspires individuals to contribute to their noble cause, fostering a community of philanthropy and support.

As the Senior Visual Designer for Hello Amigo, I create social media content on our internal platforms to showcase the projects we’ve completed as well as our internal marketing merchandise.

The MyFeels app is a mental health and wellness resource for teens put out by the Junior League of El Paso to help reduce feelings of isolation and the stigma around mental health.

As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed the look and layout of the app based on the format my coworker developed. The format of the app is engaging, asking the user a series of questions and walks them through their feelings and potential causes.

The bright color palette provides an uplifting and youthful approach that will engage the user, make them feel comfortable while still providing serious resources. The script font of the the MyFeels logo evokes handwriting and reinforces the personal nature of the app.

Jewel Box Series is a program of the El Paso Community Foundation that showcases performing artists. As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed the program’s branding to represent its modern performance. To help gain awareness in the community, I designed a trifold print piece and posters as well as the the playbill for each show.

McKee’s Pet Place provides your four-legged family members with a grooming spa, doggy daycare, pet resort and a pet boutique. During my time at Hello Amigo, I designed a new website for McKee’s, which included a two-day photoshoot at the facility, which I was more than happy to carry out and assist with art direction.

Kickpin sells exclusive and limited edition sneakers and streetwear apparel. through their e-commerce store and once-a-month pop-up shops in El Paso, TX. As a designer for Hello Amigo, I designed still and animated graphics for digital advertising campaigns to build brand awareness and drive attendance to the pop-ups.

Danielle Fishel’s hair care line needed a new set of social media graphics to freshen up their feed. To compliment their all-natural ingredients, I designed a new template of clean layouts and added subtle organic elements to enhance their photos.

The Junior League of El Paso’s biggest fundraiser of the year is their three-day shopping event, A Christmas Fair. For 2020, the theme of the Fair was “There’s Snow Place Like a Christmas Fair”, a retro ski-lodge vision. As a designer for Hello Amigo, I designed a proposed identity for the event, including their logo, illustrations, poster, tote bag and ticket design.

The Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso provides the El Paso community with support, resources, and advocacy for families of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual challenges. As a designer for Hello Amigo, I designed a website for DSCEP to help bring awareness to the organization, provide resources and ways for the local community to help.

PSRBB is is an award-winning architecture firm that specializes in commercial architecture, with a special preference for projects in the education sector. As a designer at Hello Amigo, I redesigned their website for a more modern, user-friendly design, implementing their bold color palette and new unique icons that highlight their services.

in 2019, County Commissioner Carlos Leon ran for re-election for a third term to continue the momentum he built over his first two terms. A thirty-year veteran of the El Paso Police Department, Commissioner Leon has a thorough understanding of the El Paso community and experience in public service. The following is a proposed design for his campaign identity during my time at Hello Amigo.
