My editorial experience includes a 90-page festival program for the Plaza Classic Film Festival, attended by 40,000+ annually. The copy-heavy program lays out details of the program’s films as well as special guests, events and other festival details.

The Junior League of El Paso’s Community Report I designed highlights their annual community work . The design of the Report reflects the identity for the current Presidential Theme, “Shine Bright.” Elements and colors from the identity are used to convey the “Shine Bright” message.

I also design the program and mailers every year for the Jewel Box Series, a project that showcases community talent. At the beginning of the season, a new mailer is sent out and a new program is designed every month.

My pitch deck design for Puente News Collaborative incorporates large scale images, unique infographics and highlighted text to tell the story of local news and its community impact.

My digital ad and landing page designs for Breathe Easy Early, a national medical research campaign spanning 15 cities, generated over 4,000 qualified leads through strategic and visually compelling designs.

I designed a visually engaging, user-centric website for El Paso Giving Day, featuring real-time stats, intuitive filtering, and mobile responsiveness—enhancing the donor experience and contributing to $8M raised from 32,000 donors over five years.

My redesign for El Paso County Elections Department incorporates a clean layout that enhances usability and accessibility, while custom illustrated icons and regional patterns create a distinctive, locally inspired experience. To further engage voters and simplify access to information, I designed a companion app that extends the website’s design and user experience. The redesign successfully contributed to an 80% increase in user engagement.

TAFT-DIAZ is a fine-dining establishment found in the luxurious Stanton House hotel in the border town of El Paso, Texas. I designed the packaging for The Dispute, the house coffee at local restaurant Taft-Diaz. The custom blend is packaged in distinct white and black bags that feature the story of the Chamizal dispute, in English and Spanish and take inspiration from the historic, white limestone boundary markers that dot the park.

David Garza is a Grammy-winning musician and producer. My design for his album Live 1994 incorporates a collage design with hand-drawn elements to compliment the time period.

FatStick needed an identity for their new brand to build relationships with dispensaries and establish their own storefront. I created a modern logo for FatStick that’s eye-catching and uncomplicated. The new identity features an abstract icon of a star, representing both the cannabis leaf and the Star on the Franklin Mountains of the local region. I incorporate this unique branding into a clean packaging design for their product.

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health offers care to senior citizens by day and allows them to return to their home and families at night. As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed digital and print ads and mailers for a campaign to raise community awareness and increase enrollment as well as assisted with art direction with a custom photoshoot and tv spot.

From August to September, there was a 467% increase in conversions, the number of people taking action as a result of seeing a digital ad, a 14% decrease in overall advertising costs, and an 85% decrease in cost per lead. As a result of the campaign all open spots were filled for an enrollment of 921 participants and a waiting list of eligible applicants was formed.

As a designer for Hello Amigo, I created a website for the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso that serves as a comprehensive guide for users seeking to support their mission through one-time contributions, recurring gifts, and planned giving options. With full-width photography, I was able to capture the essence of their charitable work, evoking emotion and purpose. Icons are strategically placed to enhance usability, guiding users effortlessly to pertinent information and donation opportunities. Overall, the Catholic Foundation website not only educates but also inspires individuals to contribute to their noble cause, fostering a community of philanthropy and support.

McKee’s Pet Place provides your four-legged family members with a grooming spa, doggy daycare, pet resort and a pet boutique. During my time at Hello Amigo, I designed a new website for McKee’s, which included a two-day photoshoot at the facility, which I was more than happy to carry out and assist with art direction.

The MyFeels app is a mental health and wellness resource for teens put out by the Junior League of El Paso to help reduce feelings of isolation and the stigma around mental health.

As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed the look and layout of the app based on the format my coworker developed. The format of the app is engaging, asking the user a series of questions and walks them through their feelings and potential causes.

The bright color palette provides an uplifting and youthful approach that will engage the user, make them feel comfortable while still providing serious resources. The script font of the the MyFeels logo evokes handwriting and reinforces the personal nature of the app.

Escalante Roofing is a local, family-owned business that specializes in roofing and remodeling projects. During my time at Hello Amigo, I redesigned their website with a modern look to appeal to young homeowners and provide easy access to important information. I used brighter hues of their identity palette and custom illustrations to highlight their services.

As a designer at Hello Amigo, I designed a microsite to illustrate the history of the streetcars in El Paso, from their start in 1881 connecting El Paso to Ciudad Juarez, their suspension in 1974 and finally, their renovation and return in 2018.

Franklin Star Wealth Planning is a non-commissioned financial planning firm focused on helping clients, particularly healthcare professionals, build a healthier financial future, without the sales pitch. At Hello Amigo, I designed a new website to help Franklin Star connect with prospective clients. In addition, to give the site modern custom photography, I assisted with art direction of a custom photoshoot.
